Lake Hopatcong NJ Real Estate

After returning to Lake Hopatcong for personal enjoyment and recreation about 4 years ago after a 40 plus year hiatus, I was very impressed with how the lake has been cleaned up and the development of properties and business around the lake.  After completing a personal project on Lakeside Boulevard in 2012 I began searching and will continue to search for depressed properties on the lake front that can be improved while achieving decent returns.

In 2013 we closed on a short sale residence at 27 Benedict Drive in Jefferson township.  A 60's style small ranch lakefront, this property has a main lake location in a protected cove with a sandy bottom for swimming and recreation.  This is clearly the most run down property on the street where some homes are appraised and have sold for $500-600K.

The renovation project is in the final stages of revisions and is slated to begin in the spring of 2014.  Although we are not currently looking for outside investors, if you are interested in projects like this please drop us an email for more information on upcoming projects. This project broke ground at the end of April.  Progress has been excellent thanks to the partnership with our architect, construction and real estate partners.  Below are some latest pictures of progress to date
